Marseille or Marseilles in English is originally the
Greek City state in France. It is located at the south coast of France and is
the country’s second largest city next to Paris. The city is also next to the
city of Paris and Lyon as the third largest metropolitan area in the country of
France. Historically, the city was the trade center of the region and
functioned as the French Empire’s main trade port. On the Mediterranean coast,
the city of Marseille is the largest which has the largest commercial port,
leading cruise port, and freight port as well.
