first you say to yourself what times what is 5 then you know 1x5=5 so in the = you put 1 for now. then you see what times 5 is 0 its 0×5. then you subtract 0-0 and it gives you 0. then in the = sign you have =5 then you add a 0 wich makes =50 so 50 is the anwer
