Mrs. Barrett spent $39.00 at the store on the meat, which sells for $3.25 per pound. If Mrs. Barrett wants to make all the meatballs the same size, what will be the size, in pounds, of each meatball?

So to start you half to have an equation. $3.25x is going to be on part of your equation for each pound. $39.00 is going to be your total amount of all your meat. So your equation is going to be 40=3.25x+39  then you would solve the equation from there
