explain how expectations played a role in the lives of the socials and the greasers how did internal and external expectations influence each group's actions in the novel The Outsiders

Respuesta :

Expectations played a very large role in the lives of the socials and the greasers because it was thought that if you were rich you were popular and if you were poor you were a fugitive. Internally each of the classes were almost the complete opposite of the social quo or expectations. Externally the socials and the greasers played along with the expectations. It influenced the novel by having someone completely discard this standard and remake a new one
