4. A weak base does not ionize fully in an aqueous solution. For example, NaOH is a stronger base than diethylamine because of the degree in ionization in waer to produce OH- ion.
5. Any substance with a pH value between 0 up to 7 is considered acidic, whereas a pH value of 7 to 14 is a base.
6. The chemical formula for water is usually written as H2O, but another way to consider it is HOH, where a positively charged hydrogen ion H is bonded to a negatively charged hydroxide ion H.
