The answer is: Qing dynasty
One thing that the Qing dynasty did differenly compared to other dynasties before it is they opened up China's relation with other foreign countries. (Previous dynasties completely shut off China from foreign influence).
Opening up this foreign relationships made it possible for China to acquire new knowledge/information regarding new development in technology. This action accelerated the modernization in China.
