FIDO is an easy to reminisce abbreviation that covers all the centers when measuring client behaviors and wants and make it very easy to transcribe a perfect picture of the client’s performance. FIDO stands for Frequency, Intensity, Duration, and Onset.
Frequency – it is how many times something occurred or happened.
Intensity – this is where you get to relate existing behaviors to decide the client’s experience. This is where the rating scale is used.
Duration – the length of the behaviors.
Onset – where the behavior began.
