Why does a bowling ball move without acceleration when it rolls along a bowling alley?

Please go back to your basic basics.

. F = M a

When the bowling ball leaves your hand, there's no more horizontal force on it, so there can't be any horizontal acceleration.

There IS vertical force in it, applied by gravity. But the floor prevents it from accelerating vertically.
