Electrical energy and thermal energy are connected because you can plug in a lamp and the light bulb will get hot. 

The Law of Conversation states that energy can not be created nor destroyed.

Mechanical energy is the energy inside an object due to its motion or position. I use it when I set a ball down and it rolls down the hill.
