While working in an environment where an individual is routinely exposed to radiation, he should be equipped with instruments that improve radiation safety. This includes:
1. Optical viewing device and windows. so that the rays are filtered before they enter the operator's eyes.
2. PPE - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be worn by the operator and precaution should be taken while handling radiating objects.
3. Protective Housing: The house where radiating instruments and objects are kept should be kept shielded to avoid any escape of radiation from the house.
