The granulation tissue is type of tissue that normally forms during the healing of a wound and eventually forms the scar. It is a connective tissue that is formed on the surfaces of a wound during the healing process. It has right red or dark pink color, it is perfused with new capillary loops, soft to the touch; moist; and bumpy.
