The Constitution was a result of multiple compromises. It is considered to be the fundamental law of the land may it be written or unwritten. These compromises establish the type of the government by clarifying basic principles to be followed by the people, through description on the organization of the government, its limitations, and the functions of the different departments in different agencies. It can also be defined as the unity or organization of offices in one state. Laws are used as rules in order to govern and protect the rights of all the citizens.
