before the invention of steamboat. This invention also made transportation of
goods very swift and the cost for transportation was also less. The finished
products price also decreased by a great margin and this helped buyers buy the
things at a cheaper price. The steamboats also created new jobs for people that
worked on it. Now people could travel to long distances for leisure as well at
a much cheaper cost.
