During the 1830s, there were many rebellions against European monarchies, specifically between 1830 and 1832. People in France rebelled against Charles X, for suspending freedom of the press. Charles abdicated and went to England.  Poles revolted against the Russian Tsar, but the rebellion was suppressed and Poland became part of Russia.  Germany and Italy started rebellions but nothing important really happened. Later, Belgium got its independence from the Netherlands.

The Revolutions of the 1830s are the revolutionaries change in Europe that took place during the period of 1930. The revolutions include the “romantic nationalists’ revolutions, the July Revolution of France, the Belgian Revolution of the United Kingdom and many other revolutions of Switzerland and Poland.

Two of the famous Romantic revolution occurred in Western Europe and led to the formation of similar constitutional monarchies.

July revolution of France dethroned the Bourbon King, Charles X and in place of him his cousin Louis Phillippe, Duke of Orleans was crowned and shifted the power from House of Bourbon to House of Orleans. It substituted the principle of popular sovereignty as its hereditary rights.

The same revolution also broke out in Belgian 25th August 1830 as the influence of the July Revolution of the France and led to the formation of the Brussels revolutionary groups. A  heavy battle took place between the Brussels revolutionaries and the Dutch forced and at last Dutch were forced to retreat back.

These revolts brought no significant change.
