A postpartum patient with hearing impairment asks the nurse, how will i know when the baby cries? what does the nurse instruct the parent to do?

The nurse would suggest for the parents to interact with the child using sign language. Another suggestion would be to have family members talk to the baby. Playing music or having the tv on could also help with the baby learning.
