Since the end points are pointing down we know this is a reflection so we are going to have a -2 so that mean the last answer is incorrect. Now we just have 3 to choose from. Well if you look at the graph and point (1,6), we can see x has been shifted to the right 1. All the equations have this, which we can see here(x - 1). The -1 tells the graph to shift 1 spot to the right. Well, if you look at the graph you will notice the maximum point is at (1,6). Notice y = 6. This tells us the graph was shifted up 6 points. To shift up we have to add 6. That leaves us with our answer which is [tex]y = -2(x-1)^2 + 6[/tex]
