the indian conflicts in the west especially in the great plains arose because native americans and settlers had comepletely different ways of life write a paragraph describing how both groups used the land and explain how their ways of life conflicted please answer fast!!!

Settlers wanted to make Native Americans more like the settlers and spread their culture because the Native American culture was seen as inferior. Natives were motivated to change their ways and join the society that was westernized. They also took land as they saw fit because they did not accept the fact that land belonged to the natives and that it wasn't owned by single people but rather by people in general and that anyone could use it. They wanted to build houses and farms and have land for themselves.
