A society where the emphasis shifts from agriculture or the production of food to the production of manufactured goods is known as an Industrialised Society. The Industrialised Society came after the Industrial Revolution. The focus has shifted from a society where the emphasis is on agriculture to where the focus is on mass produced manufactured goods. An Industrialised Society is driven by technology to enable the mass production of goods and uses external energy sources such as coal, oil and water generate electricity to increase the rate of production.
