Expanding it (with exponents, you can multiply the current power by the power the exponent is) to get [tex] \frac{x^{-18} * x^{-27} }{x^{-24}*x^{-12}}[/tex], and by adding the exponents up via multiplying them we get [tex] \frac{x^{-45}}{x^{-36}} [/tex]. Lastly, we can subtract -36 from -45 to get x^(-45-(-36))=x^(-45+36)=x^(-9)
