The three types of internal
communication that can be accomplished with an HER are the following:
1. Internet,
a technology has increased the availability of medical
databases that can be accessed across large distance
2. Intranet,
a restricted or local communications network, especially
a private network created using World Wide Web software
3. Portal, a
technology that provides remote access to information by providers and or
patients
