Hello!
Most calculators are configured so that when the number is too big, it automatically shows it on scientific notation. The E represents exponent. The calculator is trying to say [tex]5.378 * 10^9[/tex]. It means we should move the decimal point 9 spaces to the right.
The number in standard form would be: 5,378,000,000
