$1.98 per 12
[tex] \frac{x}{1.98}= \frac{1}{12} [/tex]
1.98*1=12*x
[tex] \frac{1.98}{12} = x[/tex]
x= 0.165
x=0.17

We know that there is 12 in one dozen so all we do is divide $1.98 by 12 and get the unit price which is .165 cents per egg.
