if i toss a die, first there are six sides on the die, 
so the probability of it facing up to 1 is 1/6
facing up to 2 is 2/6 = 1/3
facing up to 3 is 3/6 = 1/2
am even number = the even numbers are 2,4,6 so the probability of getting an even number is 3/6 = 1/2
