The answer is false, the neuron or neuroglia does not likely give rise to tumor because they are non conductive in nature and they are responsible of having to provide assist or support. They are not the ones that causes tumor to spread or to even rise.

Answer: Neuroglia

Explanation:

A neurons is a cell found in the brain and nervous system responsible for receiving sensory input, sending motor commands and transforming electrical signals. While glial cells provide support for neurons and insulates  them. Examples are astrocytes, microglia, oligodendrocytes, , ependymal cells, satellite cells and Schwann cells.

Both neurons and glial cells give rise to tumors. But, unlike neurons, glial cells have the ability to divide. If this process occurs without control, a tumor called glioma forms. And since there are are 5 to 10 times more glial cells than neurons, they are the most common cellular component of the brain. So based on those facts, that glial cells are able to divide and are found in greater numbers, it is more common for them to generate a tumor.
