Lysosomes contain the enzymes needed to break down carbs. These are small vesicles that are bound to the membrane and act as degradative bodies that take in almost all types of molecules. These bodies act as the waste disposal units for a cell by taking in unwanted materials from outside the cell and also by consuming waste products from in the cell.
