Respuesta :
the author may create suspense in the story by resorting to different literary devices. for example, he does not give a lot of details about the situation. the reader does not know why he is about to die or what he sees in that place. The narrator does not even hear his sentence because he was recalling a tale. THe use of an unreliable narrator helps to create suspense because the reader is never sure of what is really going on. Facts are not complete or they are kind of vague so it is the reader the responsible for putting the pieces together.
