Greetings!

These can be solved with simple Power Laws.

When dividing powers with the same base, we subtract the exponents:
[tex](-40s^6)/(20s^3)[/tex]
[tex]=(-40/20)s^6-^3[/tex]
[tex]=-2s^3[/tex]

When there is an exponents outside parenthesis, we multiply the exponent by the exponents in the parenthesis:
[tex](5c)/(d^2)^2[/tex]
[tex](5^2c^2)/(d^4)[/tex]
[tex](25c^2)/(d^4)[/tex]

Hope this helps.
