Just find "x" from this equation :
[tex]y=7x^2-10 \\ \\ 7x^2 = y+10 \qquad /:7 \\ \\ x^2=\dfrac{y+10}{7} \qquad /\sqrt{} \\ \\ x=\pm \sqrt{\dfrac{y+10}{7}} [/tex]
Then change "x" and "y" and You've got an answer:
[tex]y=\pm \sqrt{\dfrac{x+10}{7}} [/tex]
