A person swims to the other end of a 20m long pool back. What is their displacement?

Respuesta :

The displacement is simply equivalent to the shortest distance that can be drawn from the initial point towards the final point. If the path of the swim that the person took is from the initial point, then go to the 20 m end, but then go back to the initial point so the displacement would be equal to 0 (zero) since the initial and final points are the same.

Answer:

zero
