Hi! I believe that this is a homework to exercise your writing ( and public speech) skills, so I probably shouldn't do it for you, but here are some hints and ideas you can use if you're stuck:
- you can talk about the different occasions when a family or a group of friends got together to eat; maybe you can give a personal example? A specific holiday?
- you can talk about on one hand the big celebretions which unite the bigger family: maybe you only see your uncles for Thanksgiving? and on the other hand the closer family, when they eat together, also gets closer to each other by spending time together.
