ok so its fractions
which fraction is bigger:
5/8 or 7/15 and its 5/8.
then is says 5/8=
and 7/15=
can somebody work it out. i think it means half it to simplify the answers.
this is the second question
2/15 or 4/25 which is bigger?
and then it says
2/15=
and 4/25=
can somebody pleeeeeeease help? thank you

First we have to find da Common Denominator:
5×15=75 7×8=56
- --- --- ----
8×15=120 15×8=120
So now u can tell dat 75/120 is bigger than 56/120. So da answer to this is 5/8 is bigger than 7/15.
For da second u need to do da same thing. Find da common denominator.
2×5=10 4×3=12
--- --- --- ---
15×5=75 25×3=75
Now u can see dat 12/75 is bigger. So u can say dat 4/25 is bigger than 2/15.
