The learning activities are designed for students to learn from collaborations with their peers. Students will form groups based on the decision of the instructor and will discuss the following problem(s) among the group members. They may use a spreadsheet or any other optimization programs to arrive at the best decision. Each group will write a short essay explaining the methodologies they used and why they decided to do so for each question. They should focus on the thought process and takeaways from the collaboration. Students should not post the solutions in the class discussion forum if the forum is set to be visible to all students. All the teams will upload their essays to the content management system for evaluation.
