Biogeochemical cycles are the normal patterns of natural phenomenons that occur in the earths spheres, interacting and interdepedent. These cycles help to sustain life on earth as well as to maintain the resources that provide energy. When man-made structures and technologies are put into action, they distort the natural state of these said cycles causing them to rapidly occur or to forcefully be available. The result also of pollution and the increase in greenhouse gas.
Human activities that majorly impact the biochemical cycling are pollution through extraction of fossil fuels. The burning and use of these fuels also impacts the whole process of the cycling. Causing the processes to occur rapid disrupting the whole cycle. As far as Cultural eutrophication goes the pollution created by the use of fossil fuels and also the use of fertilizers are then put into our water system. The water then inevitably goes into our lakes and streams causing mass fish kills and water pollution.
