A pitot-static tube is used to measure the velocity in an air stream. Air speed is expected to vary from 0 to 90 m/s. The pitot-static tube is connected to a differential piezoelectric transducer that has a built-in sensitivity of 20 mV/mm Hg. If the signal is to be recorded on a 0–10 V, 16-bit data acquisition system, suggest a signal-conditioning gain that makes best use of the data acquisition range capability.
