Advances in communication technology influenced the proliferation of wireless and cashless transactions across the globe. This phenomenon is known as e-commerce and it is the trading of goods and services or the transfer of money or data via an electronic network. This has in someways eliminated the need for some business operations to have physical structures and makes it easy to make transactions and thus it is much easier to set up multiple branches of certain types of businesses across the globe.
