There are two parts of the nervous system, First central nervous system (CNS) consists of the brain and spinal cord and second peripheral nervous system (PNS) consist of nerves outside the CNS.The central nervous system contains the brain, spinal cord, and retina and the peripheral nervous system consists of sensory neurons, clusters of neurons and nerves connecting them to each other and to the central nervous system.
