Ethics or Moral Philosophy is the branch of Philosophy which centers on defining concepts of right and wrong and interpreting those values. The three areas of study within Ethics are Meta-Ethics, Normative Ethics, and Applied Ethics, through this the student of philosophy looks into the theoretical and practical application of moral propositions.
