(2x+2)(x+2) Look there is a way most people don't know but I always use it. it's super easy once you learn it. So the equation is ax²+bx+c=0 b you have to think of two numbers whose sum is b and prod. is ac. So in this situation the sum is 6 and the prod. is 2×4=8 . Two numbers there sum is 6 and product is 8 are: 4 and 2 so we rewrite the equation  2x²+6x+4 delete the 6x and put the two numbers we found with an x like this : 2x²+4x+2x+4 then you take the first two together and the last two together like this : (2x²+4x)+(2x+4)   you then factorise the two brackets take the common factor. 2x(x+2)+2(x+2)    In any equation it's a must to find two similar brackets take them common and combine like this (x+2)(2x+2). and then it's done. I know it's a bit strange and hard but once you perfect it any polynomial is a piece of cake.
