Why shouldn't students  required to  their math work?

In fact, forcing children to show their work needlessly can be damaging because showing work isn't always a good idea. It goes without saying that doing all of your math mentally is a bad habit. Adults comprehend this since they have gone through the complete educational process and are aware of what is in store for their kids.
