The passage that catches my consideration in Nabokov's article would need to be the place he starts to characterize writing with the case of the young man who told a shameful lie. It influenced me to stop and consider how it was the stories like such started and whether they were fanciful stories or genuinely in view of little children who lied about being pursued by a wolf.
