Whispers wind through gnarled trees, a shiver in the night,
Shadows dance to an unseen tune, beneath the pale moonlight.
Thickets tangle, paths mislead, where fears and darkness dwell,
Each rustling leaf, a silent thief, in this eerie, living hell.
Beneath the canopy, stars are lost, the sky's an empty void,
The forest breathes a chilling breath, of tales best unenjoyed.
Eyes glint from hollows deep, where creatures silent creep,
And every soul who enters in, awakens fears asleep.
Yet brave the heart that ventures forth, through the forest's fearsome door,
For beyond the dark, the brave embark, on tales of myth and lore.
