The difference between seeing the driving environment and the perceiving the same environment is that in terms with seeing the driving environment, the person tends to just look and observe the surroundings before him or her. While the perceiving, is a way of trying to perceive or be aware of the surroundings in front of you, in a way to come into a realization.

Answer:

When you perceive something, you give value and meaning to it. Seeing something is just looking at it.

Explanation:

The verb see means to notice with the eyes, discern visually or catch a glimpse of something. On the other hand, perceive involves becoming aware or certain of something, and coming to recognize or understand.  As a consequence, perceiving something implicates a more complex and deeper process than just seeing something.
