I think the correct answer would be option D. The abiotic factors that affects the ocean by creating disturbances that move energy through the water would be the waves. Abiotic factors are the non-living physical and chemical parts of an ecosystem that affects the organisms anf the functions in the ecosystem. The waves in the ocean helps in the mixing of nutrients in the ocean and also in the distribution of heat in the ocean. Also, the waves are forces that help shape the coastlines. Waves are creates mostly by wind. The wind would blow at the top of the ocean surface creating friction between the water molecules and air resulting to frictional drag that is shown as waves.
