As the co-ordinates of the points are not given, we can take the logical approach for general rotation of any geometrical figure, here the desired figure is a triangle.
There are 3 possible scenarios, viz. the point of rotation might be outside, one of the vertices or inside the triangle.
In the first case, where the point of rotation is outside the triangle, then the rotated figure will undergo a quadrant shift. So, in no way will the original triangle will touch the rotated triangle. Hence, point F is not the answer.
In the second case, where the point of rotation is one of the vertices, after rotation only that point will touch the rotated triangle. So, point C is not the answer.
In the third case, where the point of rotation is inside the triangle, the rotated triangle will be in the same quadrant. It will also reside on the original triangle, so it will touch the original or pre-image at more than one points. So D and E are the answers. But, rotation around E will be more appropriate as it is more closer to center, hence it will touch more points as compared to that of point D.
