The plague cause changed because it killed many people and lots of people fell into poverty because they couldn’t constantly go out and work. The Ottoman Empire effected many because it caught off much needed traded because it had a lot of the Silk Road in its territory which was at the time the many source of trade. Since the Silk Road was caught of a new way of trade had to be developed.
