The grip of the tire on the road is traction. Traction is categorized in to three types that are static traction, rolling traction and sliding traction.
Static traction is demonstrated when a vehicle is not moving and stable because it is parked on a flat surface.
Traction is important for driving safely but it is important in certain weather condition like snow, fog, rain etc.
