In cubism (an art movement), first phase is analytic cubism
and second phase is synthetic cubism. In synthetic cubist works, such
as three musicians, artists constructed paintings and drawings from objects and
shapes cut from paper or other materials. Three musicians was created in 1921 by Pablo Picasso, who
was a Spanish artist and this artwork is placed in museum of
modern art, New York.
