It is the Multiplicative Identity Property which states, if a number is multiplied by 1, it will be that number.

Associative property I believe because the sides equal each other. 1(12x4)=48. 12x4=48. They equal each other. It's not distributive property because both sides aren't distributing any number like the first one is. Hope this helps! ;)
