The easiest way to solve a question like this is to actually graph it. You should simply plot these 2 points and then draw a line (with a straight edge) connecting them.

After you have graphed it, you must understand Slope Intercept Form (SIF). SIF is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept (the point where the line goes through the y-axis). To find the slope, we should count the number of times up and over we have to go and place it as rise/run.

If you look at the graph below, you can see that the correct answer is
y=5x-11. The blue circles are the points we were given. The highlighted portion is the y-intercept (b) and the red dots show our slope is 5/1, which can be simplified to 5.
