"The Interlopers" is a short story written by Saki (H.H. Munro). The story takes place in a forest where two men, Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym, have a long-standing feud over a piece of land. One stormy night, they both find themselves trapped under a fallen tree. Initially, they are full of anger and hatred towards each other, but as they face the possibility of death, they start to reflect on their feud and the futility of it all.
